Cataracts In Cats Cat Cataracts Or Lenticular Sclerosis?

Cat cataracts or lenticular sclerosis? - cataracts in cats

Last August, it was found a stray cat that saw resolved in our porch and in a short time later made it a slight reddening of the left eye as a class, when the light hits the eyes of a cat in the dark, but red not green or golden in color. Only in the darkness, however. We do not have much, and thought he had always done. He seemed in order.

Shortly after his return from Christmas break today, I came home the boots of his left eye with a white glaze covered here. I asked my parents to take him to a vet, but they said they had no money. I looked online and cataract and lenticular sclerosis seems to fit that well with the color white. How to do a stray dog, I do not know how old he is, but does not act as one of the older cats that we seriously before, but not a cat. I am not a vet, so I do not know how they say their pension scheme, and I do not know if it would make a difference, what about the eyes wrong. Here & # 039 images SA, it seems that one of you an idea of what you think it is and / or what can really appreciate for him to give it.

Thank you in advance. (:

A cat of my friend had something similar happens. I do not know what it means, but it is basically an inflammation of the cornea, which turns white. She fell and the eyes of the cat was all better. I can not say for sure that is what your cat, but I think it's not a star or lenticular sclerosis, and it went so fast. The inflammation can use it very quickly, and if you do worry about money, you're lucky, because the drops are fairly inexpensive. You do not know if they are available without prescription, but I suggest you go to a pet store and demand. You may be able to help you and tell you for sure.

Good luck and I hope your kitten feels better. (:
