Any type of socks that at least 60% merino wool and told to absorb. Merino wool is very warm and even works when you soak your feet (with cotton useless), which means that the tape absorbs moisture (sweat, etc.) of the skin, keeps feet dry and feet, dry feet are warm. Remember that you can have the hottest socks, but when the foot is off circulation to the feet is cut blocks of ice. They need warm blood to circulate freely again, to your feet warm. In addition, if the average does your boot is too tight that your feet become cold and compress the layers of insulation. Insulation traps warm air that is compressed when it warmed very few pockets of hot air.

Beach Bum's right, I'm just my two points.

Remember that cotton is deadly in the cold and wet.

The chemical heating hands and feet are very hot.

the boots are probably more important than socks. but if you do not wear cotton socks, the feet warm, no matter what you wear boots.
